As part of our expanding series of special guests here on the Cruise Critic Message Boards, we’re extremely pleased to welcome Peter Shanks, President & Managing Director, Cunard Line.
Peter will be answering your questions live on February 18th and 19th.
Peter is responsible for Cunard Line on a worldwide basis and reports to David Dingle, CEO Carnival UK. He has been with Carnival UK for 10 years, having joined in 2002 as Senior Vice President for Cunard in Europe. Prior to that Peter was Managing Director of Distribution for the Airtours Group in the UK and spent time as Commercial Director for Thomas Cook. Cunard enjoys international support across many markets and in particular from the UK, North America, Germany and Australia.
Mr Shanks said ahead of his Q&A session: “I am very much looking forward to having the opportunity to respond to Cruise Critic readers direct. Our passengers are very passionate about Cunard as am I so I look forward to sharing my views and answering what I’m sure will be a wide range of questions on a host of subjects.”
The questions can be anything Cunard-related, for example Oysterman has asked about – in his view – the deteriorating quality of food onboard QM2; Cunard Cruiser has asked whether the line will ever sail to Bermuda from New York; and Davidonaboat has asked a very interesting question about whether there might be a new addition to the fleet…?

why on earth is cunard is charging so high suppliments to single people who are getting a bad deal since Qe2 has gone out of service ,

traveled several times with cunard on qe2 , only in 2011 got a good deal late in the year for single travel on Qm2 , i found cunard is letting single down the people who supported cunard all those years , it seems that cunard wants couples not singles
