Fine except for burn on carpet. Basic but good cabin . No noise or problems.

Cabin nice and had enough room for 2 adults and 2 children. No window. Drawer handles kept falling off but still nice.

The Penthouse was the best location (Mid-Ships) The size was great with limited closets for 91 days. Our Butler was great and took our excess luggage to storage

Disappointment by Christina Goozee
The Cabin was comfortable but any view, even though listed as "obstructed" was totally blocked by a lifeboat. The shower cubicle was very tiny & I am a size 14.  Read entire member review.

The cabin was a "standard" balcony cabin. e were 3 adults so my daughter had the sofabed. It was all very very acceptable. Cleaned at least twice a day. No issues. It was very near the front(the bow!) on deck 5 and it was great.

Note that while technically not "obstructed view" if you look down while on the balcony you will not see the sea but the tops of the life boats plus your neighbours in rooms 5054 forward and 4054 below. It all felt a bit voyeuristic so didn't spend that much time on the balcony. There is no compromise of the view from inside the room itself, only when you went onto the balcony. Also, I'm not sure about this, but I think the balconies on deck 6 upwards are deeper than they are on deck 5 at this position on the ship.

Informative QE review by daisy's mom

We originally carefully booked Cabin 5117 (A6) which was a partially obstructed view. There was a some of the lifeboat blocking the view but it was tolerable. We were then "upgraded" to (A4) which was considered unobstructed but did have small white light fixture at knee level and the orange top of a lifeboat right below foot level. We were able to peek in at 5117 and it didn't seem bad...if we hadn't gotten the free upgrade the $200 pp increase in cost wouldn't have been worth it. The stateroom was fine but we preferred the balcony cabin we had on a previous cruise on the Ruby Princess to this one even though this one came with a loveseat. The loveseat didn't get used that much probably because the new flat screen tvs recently installed are centered in front of the bed. The cabin on the Ruby seemed a bit wider and the balcony seemed a touch bigger. Tip: when we arrived the glass partition on the balcony seemed streaked and dirty. On the next to last day it was sparkling clean. We watched as our cabin steward lured cups full of water on the balcony next door. Was going to comment about it on the questionnaire but didn't want to get him in trouble. So if your partition is not clean when you check in, by all means tell your steward.

Golden Cunarders by dykercruiser

The Stateroom was quite spacious and everything worked. Our steward was very efficient but unobtrusive, and always around to enquire if everything was to our liking.

Very good cabin with shower over bath and amenities. Lots of hanging space and safe big enough for all our equipment including iPad.
Very comfortable bed and pillow (pillow menu if you want). Would have liked a bit more draw space.
Fridge stocked but only used for our own 'brought on' drinks. Bottle of fresh water and fruit every day.
Large sofa that coverts into a bed. Cool place to sit when required.
Two flat screen TVs. Only problem was that when turning one of the other would come on as remote range controlled both. Balcony quite narrow so don't invite anyone back for a drink on the balcony unless travelling alone and remember your neighbours will hear your conversations.
Cabin in mid ships near the lifts and not far from the launderette. Very little noise. Would certainly stay in same cabin again.

Not gold standard! by Lesleylovell

Cabin fine, view only slightly obstructed. Plenty of cabin space, room for a sofa. Large flat screen TV but my husband disappointed as there was no access to Sky Sport on the ship. Cabin very quiet with very little motion. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding and pillows were first class.

Very Impressed by Stewart Cusack
Cabin 6143, is a Balcony cabin on the Starboard side near the aft, we found this cabin to be bright and spacious, twin or double bed, glass fronted balcony, all in all we were satisfied with our 22 night stay.  Read entire member review.

We have been in an inside stateroom for 3 out of the 4 cruises and we have always been on deck 6. Our stateroom was close to the elevators but a long way from the laundry room. We were happy with our stateroom it was quiet and we could barely feel the boat move. It was quiet and I never heard any other passengers coming or going. The only complaint was there was mold on some of the tiles in the bathroom and the over flow hole in the wash basin had not been cleaned and was black.

Wonderful Solo Experience by Oxfordcruiser49

Typical Balcony Cabin. Useful storage under the beds with room for suitcases. A little bumpy in rough weather being so far forward.

My stateroom was actually a BC (which was once classified as an A3). It worked well for me traveling solo. Loved the balcony.

The cabin was fine. Have travelled Cunard a few times before and knew the modern equipment of the cabins. A bit "simple" I think are these shower curtains. Other cruise lines have steady sliding doors. The power sockets can only be rated positively, since you'll find UK, american and german standards.

Way under par by drottning
The cabin was adequate, the shower-room was smaller than QE2. Corridors were quiet at night t.g.  Read entire member review.

7036 Located nearer to forward lifts/stairs making it quick to get to gym/spa. Near laundrette but not near enough to hear it. Cabin forward on 'bulge' so that if people are standing on the front of this they can look into your balcony  Read entire member review.
