Summary: Very good cruise overall, with a few minor disappointments.
Background:
My wife and I are 42, from upstate New York, and we took this cruise with our 14 and 10 year old daughters. This was our 2nd cruise, the first on the Carnival Fantasy in 2011.
We had 7226 and 7228. Great cabins, roughly midway between the two main elevator banks. These are connecting cabins - the main double door is closed and the two individual cabin doors are left open, creating a small foyer area connecting the two spaces. The verandas can be connected as well - just ask the stateroom attendant to open the glass partition. No issues with anything in the cabins. 7228 includes a pull-out bed under the sofa (we didn't use it). No noise issues except occasional "kids running around" noise from above or below, and noise from adjacent verandas.
