In common with some others we found the food, though reasonable in quality, to be extremely bland and uninteresting. One exception was a lunchtime special dish of casseroled octopus Croatian style. The largely Filipino staff are enthusiastic. Plates disappear from in front of you with remarkable speed even when other people are still eating. Don't be on the late side for breakfast as they do not keep a small area fully laid up and quiet but rather allow you to sit anywhere and carry on clearing away and setting up for the next meal all around you. The wines are served by the bar staff. In the buffet restaurant there is often a long wait for wine as the "ordinary waiters" are not allowed to get involved. "The bar is a different cost/profit centre to the catering was the explanation - hardly of interest to a customer. All it means is that their internal organisation is not customer focussed.

The ship is well run and clean. .It is badly in need of its' planned refurbishment.

The large lounge where the lectures are help is poorly designed for that purpose. The ceiling too low to allow proper projection and the seating very poor.

Cabin Review

Fine. Cracked mirror.
