Sail Date: Oct 2013

We have sailed many times but not from Europe. First, I must agree with one review that said the cruise was what you made it. True, true, true. We were concerned about the many negative comments. This was our take: there was very little, if any annoying smoke. The food was quite good with more than ample choice. The portions were appropriate unless you are a glutton. As non drinkers, there was always water and coffee available at no charge. Bottled water at dinner was very reasonably priced. The rooms were larger than most and the balcony was a delight and cleaned. The ship itself was quite pretty. The complaint about fresh fruit was ludicrous , I had apples, plums, pears, pineapple, melons as well as dried fruit with breakfast. The entertainment was excellent. There was much talent in every show.

Hopefully, this dispels some of the hard to please. The not the best comments were the expensive and less than great excursions. Each port could be done on your own much less expense. More time would also have been nice. The staff was always there to help. We would definitely go on the Magica again.

Cabin Review

Balcony. Was excellent, large and pleasant to sit on the balcony.
