The check in process was well organised and efficient. The plus side to this ship in attention to cleanliness and hygiene lots of hand sanitisers around which staff ensured everyone used, also rooms and staircases, hand rails cleaned throroughly. This is a totally informal cruise, definitely no need for a suit or posh dress, in fact everyone was rather underdressed which we personally found a little disappointing. There are three restaurants - the beachcomber is more like a canteen but open 24 hours and very casual, the island restaurant much better, still buffet but waiters on service and much nicer in here, tables set up and drinks offered frequently.
The entertainment was good, bingo and quizzes with gameshows along with shows. We found the resident band, although good were too loud. Actitvities are on throughout the day. The ship is very well run and shore excursions were excellent. Some ports there is plenty to do in surrounding area but naples and rome ithink did really benefit from going on the tour. Although this cruise is a good introduction to cruising and all inclusive helps, if you want glitz and glam and formality this would not be the cruise for you, but all in all a good experience. We had a suite which was huge with a comfy king bed and loads of room. The ship itself is in need of some redecorating and the restaurants need some formality as some people made no effort. Shows should be better organised too as people who have already seen the show remain seated as it is a lounge type set up thus not enabling others the opportunity to see the shows. Good trip but a few points would make it much better.
