We booked the cruise on a whim, it was a good deal, but I was a bit worried by some of the reviews, but over the course of the week I was won over.

Embarkation was quick and easy. We were on the ship by about midday, and our room was ready within an hour or so. Comfortable bed, nice light-filled room.

The food was excellent - we tried all the specialist restaurants, we really liked Cagney's and Moderno and Tepenyaki. Bistro was OK - our server asked us every 30 seconds if everything was OK, but she didn't bring butter for the bread, and our medium lamb arrived rare - but that was the only off note on service. All the other restaurants had excellent attentive but not intrusive service. We like the freestyle system, it works well for us.

Cabin Review

The room worked well for us. I was ready for it to be small, but it felt fine. Lots of storage helped. The shower was good, not too cramped. The view from the back of the ship is great, but it's noisier than a side cabin, mostly from the water going , but sometimes from the music.
