My wife and I recently returned from our sixth Star Clipper cruise. This cruise took us around the BVI's, St Bart's and St Kitts.

First the positive, great crew, excellent food and the ship was as stunning as ever. Don't expect gourmet cuisine, if you want that then pay gourmet prices. Our deck cabin was clean and comfortable. Great mix of passengers from many countries.

The negatives on Star Clipper are a lack of shaded areas on top deck (Royal Clipper is much better). This is a serious issue and should be addressed. The house wines have definitely gone downhill since our last cruise and should be improved. The choice of destinations was in the main good, but St Kitts was a disaster, no one was allowed off in the Port unless on an excursion, we dropped anchor a little way up the coast opposite the most appalling beach in the Caribbean. Not good enough Star Clippers.

Cabin Review

Cabin 01

This is a deck cabin on the main deck. Very comfortable, clean and tidy.
