The port of Cape Town is beautiful and the staff at the airport was very nice to all of us in the group. Took a heck of a long time and standing in an endless line at the port to embark....Staff very friendly and in less than 3 minutes you are booked in and off you go to board the ship but this happens only once you reach the staff in front....

The food in the La Terrazza restaurant(pool level) was always of mediocre quality...some of the deserts you could taste was "mass-produced" and the rest of the food was of medium quality...nothing to shout out about...at least there was free coffee and warm water to drink.:-(

The Il Galeone had very friendly staff but again the food was no where near good quality...one night had steak and it was so tough we didn't even eat it.... Must try not to compare to other cruise lines, but out of ten they scored a 3 in my book.

Cabin Review

We were 3 girls together...was big enough for us ....bunk beds made it easy....ladder to top bunk made watching television difficult...shower is EXTREMELY small!!! Did get lost to the cabin a lot of times as they are even numbers to a passage....uneven numbers to the other passage...Room was sound proof enough so the noise from the passage did not bother us so much....had enough space to put 3 large suitcases...they were not in our way
