Sail Date: Mar 2014

We have previously sailed on the Destiny and the Spirit, and in agreeing with others, the Celebration is a bit of an old lady of the seas but she still has character even if she doesn't have all the chrome and glass the newer ships have.

There are some things that people call negatives such as the vibration in some areas of the ship. However we didn't find this a problem and soon got used to it. There was some movement of the ship when the seas where a bit choppy. The stabilisers reduced the roll ok but they don't do anything for the pitching but you can't blame the ship for the weather/sea conditions. We also heard some people saying that they had engine noise in their cabin but they where on decks 1 and 2 at the back of the ship (obviously this is where the engines are) so I would expect some noise in that area.

The public areas were a bit crowded especially during the days at sea but we had a balcony cabin which was ideal for chilling out.

Cabin Review

cabin now has a balcony which is a great bonus. The interior needs a little TLC to tidy up things like damaged veneers etc. but overall it is spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage space.
