Here are our PERSONAL views about our recent MSC yacht club experience on the Splendida. We have completed 6 previous cruises, but this was our first with MSC. We found a yacht club 'deal', and at the end of the day were pleased we did!. It may be of help to give the positives and negatives to help the reader, so here we go.
Positive: We flew to Nice to depart Genoa. No problems with the flight, or the transfer by coach (some 2.5hrs of travel). We were met at the cruise termional by our MSC 'butler', offered refreshmesnts and taken to the exclusive check in. All very polite, effeicient and professional. We were quickly taken to our cabin, and all this was a good experience.
Negative: none really, perhaps it would be easier to fly to Genoa, but logistics or cost may make this not possible. At least it would save all the hassle of a long coach trip.
Cabin Review
CABIN. No problems here at all, lives up to the hype. We were very pleased with this. Nice bed, complimentary mini bar, good shower and bath, and first class butler service. The standard of cleanliness and houskeeping on MSC cannot be faulted. Butler service on Yacht club is first class. Chosen paper deliverd every morning, clean linen, turn down service, canape's, the works. Great
