This was my 116th lifetime cruise, 16th on NCL, 4th voyage on the Sun. Platinum NCL repeater status.

Drove Orlando to Miami morning of cruise. Parked offsite for 7.99 per day ( free shuttle) (as opposed to $20 per day at the port)with United Airport parking at 8300 NW 7th Ave in Miami. Fenced, secure lot ( left car key with valet). No problems.

Boarded vessel by 1 PM. Cabins were ready for occupancy so went directly to Deck 10 , cabin 0259, starboard side, aft. Room was 8 2/3 feet wide by almost 21 feet long. Balcony was 8 2/3 by 5, bathroom (shower only) was 4 feet by 5 feet. Room was spotless and inviting. 6 drawers and 14 shelves and baskets as well as 2 closets with double row hanging space. The cabin also had a coffee maker. Brought along a power strip and converter plugs so we could use both the 110 and 220 volt outlets available. Called guest services as beds needed to be separated and ice delivered as well as extra pillows as I use Cpap device and need to sleep sitting up. Platinum amenities also delivered ( bottle French sparkling wine, Godiva chocolate gift box and ship-made chocolate covered strawberries. Up to Garden Cafe ( Lido restaurant) on deck 11 for a snack. Then back to the cabin to unpack ( 5 suitcases total). Got everything stowed away and suitcases under one of the beds to leave extra floor space. Lifeboat drill was short and to the point ( no preservers required). As my female BFF and I had been on the ship before no tour was necessary but we did notice some decor changes which were very pleasing as well as the recently installed Brazilian style Churrasco restaurant.

Cabin Review
