This was a great way to get a flavor for each of the major islands. The ship itself was clean and kept that way by staff. Our balcony room was small, and we barely had enough room to unpack all our luggage. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We found a majority of the staff to be friendly and helpful. The on board entertainment that we experienced was above average; especially Tim the guitar player, and the pianist in the champagne lounge. Our biggest disappointment was the food. It was suggested we book the specialty restaurants and we did, however even the Italian food was lousy. The menu in the Aloha cafe was pretty much the same every day. We were pleased to dine at East Meets West. By far, the best meal of the week. There are many shore excursions to choose from, and we were pleased with our picks. We would recommend the Land of Frozen Fire. Mike, our tour guide, was excellent. Since we did not leave until late afternoon on the day of disembarkation, we decided to book the Early Bird Pearl Harbor Tour. It was a nice way to end the trip since we did not want to leave without experiencing it. As I mentioned in the beginning, this was a great way to get a flavor for each island since they each have something unique to offer. Make sure you check out the Napali Coast as you leave Kauai. The views are spectacular!
