Sail Date: Mar 2014

We took a 7-night Southern Caribbean cruise on the Summit in March 2014. This was our 10th cruise, and our 5th on Celebrity. We enjoyed it more than ever! The itinerary was interesting, and the ship was in good shape.

We booked Aqua class for the first time, and we liked it even more than I expected. The food, service, and ambiance in Blu were superior to the Main Dining room. I was surprised at how much we enjoyed the Aqua amenities, especially the carafe of tea in the room and the glass shower door. We will book Aqua whenever possible in the future.

We ate at Qsine once. We enjoyed it but don't need to go back. Our waiter was excellent, and the food was tasty, but the whole experience came across as gimmicky. Having eaten at Ocean Liners on Constellation, we weren't too interested in the similar menu at Normandie. I would like to see Celebrity provide less quirky restaurants on Summit - an Italian and an Asian would be nice.

Cabin Review

Nice location with a slightly larger balcony than most.
