This was my third cruise.First was Carnival 13 day from ny. Second was 7 day on Royal C. First thing I will say is that this boat and the people on her exceeded our expectations to the point that the other issues(and there were several of them),became unimportant. We received notice by email and several phone calls that the ship lost one of her 4 generators on the previous sailing, and as a result she was slower in open water. The hotel services were not affected. This problem caused us to loose one of our original ports of call to Freeport. We had booked an excursion there. Carnival credited us the $ as soon as we boarded without my having to ask. They replaced that port with Charleston,Sc. Its was rainy, but still a nice little town to see. It has a fairly large market within walking distance. I believe the Carnival Fantasy stops there regularly. We ported at Canaveral next. We camped out on Cocoa Beach for the day. Hit Ron Jon surf shop.(Just because we are an hour from the original Ron Jon). We booked a parasailing tour in Nassau, but when we docked, we were told the wind was too high.Another cancelled booking. They offered a refund, but we exchanged it for a segway tour to Junkanoo beach. That was a lot of fun!

Having given all the bad news up front,,, everything else was FANTASTIC! The cabin stewards were great. The dining staff was soo wonderful,I wanted to take them home with us. we exchanged emails with several people employed on the ship, and have already been in contact with them. The food was excellent.(we ate both breakfast and dinner in the dining room). There were smiles from everyone. CANNOT WAIT TO GO AGAIN !! 5 stars for everything they had control over.

Cabin Review

Cabin was wonderful. The doors opened to let air in, but the view was obstructed by the lifeboat(which we were told about when we booked). We had twin beds that put together to make a king.
