This was our eight cruise with RC, first on the Freedom and it was all and more than we expected. We drove from Virginia, spent the night in Jacksonville on Sat. and drove to the pier Sunday morning. The parking and terminal facilities are very nice and embarkation went well. We were on the ship by 11:45a. Cabin was ready at 2:00p. Don't expect to get into your cabin any earlier.

Cruising is all about expectations. Relax and enjoy as much as you can. Don't expect everything to be perfect because it won't be. We have never had a problem getting problems corrected, it is all in how you approach the staff. The staff on this ship were great and friendly. I have read many cruise reviews and a frequent complaint is about the food, and in particular the Windjammer. Please, if you can't be pleased with food in the Windjammer you are too picky a eater. We have always found the food there very good.

We had been to all the ports on this cruise before so we took this cruise to relax and do nothing.

Cabin Review
