Sail Date: Apr 2014

We have started a tradition of sailing to Mexico once a year to have a lovely relaxing "honeymoon" week!

We live in San Diego so this year we drove up to Long Beach the morning of the cruise. We arrived at the port at about 10:30AM and had no trouble finding a parking spot on the 2nd floor of the port parking structure. I bought the Faster to the Fun this year and we were very happy with the quick dedicated check in line outside the dome. We waited in the sunshine until about noon and then were quickly through security and on board! Our room was ready as promised so we dropped our luggage and went to the Lido for lunch.

It was great to be on board before the crowds!!!We were in a balcony cabin midship on the Empress deck.We really loved the location as the balcony had just the right mixture of sun/shade and we were near 2 sets of elevators.

Cabin Review

Great location midship near 2 sets of elevators!!We also liked that the balcony had just the right mixture of sun/shade and could see ports well!
