We drove down from Scotland with overnight stay in Preston. Deliberate decision to avoid the need for flying and limited baggage weight. We parked with AB Ports at the quayside; at £10 per night I don’t consider this cheap but it was extremely convenient and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Suitcases were collected literally from the boot of the car and trollies were available to help us back from the ship.
We checked in around 12:30 and were on the ship within quarter of an hour. Customary glass of fizz to greet us on-board.

Great view. No noise issues. Close to Fwd stairs. Bed by balcony set-up
