Took this cruise to attain Diamond with Royal Carribean. Booked in an inside cabin.

As mentioned had low expectations as we sailed on t his ship before revamp and not much has changed. Embarkation was very fast took us about 15 mins from arriving at the port to having lunch at the Winjammer. Great job RC! Luggage arrived quickly. Decided to check out our dinner table. Noticed that it was set for 4. Specifically asked for a table for 2. Told maître d. She said she would try. Guess what she didn't deliver. Decided to eat quickly and leave. Told her I wasn't happy, she did not really seem to care. Not the service we were expecting. That night received a change of table for the following night, it was a table for two but was seated in the anytime dining section. Never went back. Food was lousy. Windjammer was much better.

It's incredible how RC is cheapening the experience. Here are a few examples: No more Shampoo, room attendant uncomfortably said that RC has decided not to provide shampoo! Even Motel 6 provides shampoo! Found out the hard way the first morning! Finally the attendant found a few bottles, told us not to tell anyone or he'd get in trouble! Talk about placing your employees in uncomfortable positions. Next, tipping is now automatic, so if you decide not to eat in the dining room, you have to wait at guest services to get these charges removed. They say it's to save on envelopes! Here's the strangest, guest feedback forms are no longer handed out, by email only. Again excuse given, save on paper. But they deliver all kinds of offers that no one uses (art auction, bingo, shopping at sea printed on guess what....paper! So it's ok when RC can make money on something to use paper, but when it's for the convenience of the passenger, "saving paper". So I wonder what the next "cheapening"thing will be? Will probably sail RC again to see whether Diamond is worth the loyalty, and to see if RC gets the message from very many vocal passengers that were on this cruise.

Cabin Review

Small as expected, no real issues except the elimination of Shampoo in the shower. It's BYO Shampoo,
