Additional details

Sail Date: Apr 2014

Nine night cruise Amsterdam to Amsterdam. Six ports. One cancelled after we booked without notifying us. (About two months prior to sail).

The Magnifica is a four or five year old ship. Linens mended and old and bedspread removed, didn't look clean. Mattress VERY uncomfortable, we flipped it. Pillows Extremely Uncomfortable. Like a bag of rolled up socks. My suggestion: bring a pillow.

Food: Monotonous and not tasty. We called it the "carb cruise". Meatless pizza and fries. The lunch salad bar was good but usually at port during lunch. Formal dining service slow and got orders wrong. Not organized. We dined formally three nights, then chose buffet. Again boring, little seasoning. Fruit ok. Drinks limited. No iced tea, little juice.

Cabin Review

Not restful mattress, very uncomfortable. Pillows worse.Need new linens and bedspread/duvet gross.Otherwise cabin as expected though cleaning was adequate and no more.
