Sail Date: Jun 2014

This was our 4th cruise. 2nd on Celebrity, 1st to Alaska. We flew from Kansas City, MO the day of the cruise. Arrived right on time, retrieved our luggage, and boarded the bus to the ship. We had a balcony cabin so had to wait in line to check in for about 45 minutes .. Met a wonderful couple on the bus who waited in line with us, so time went quickly. In our room about 2:30.

Upon arrival on the ship, we made our specialty dining reservations. We bought the 3 dinner package, so reserved a 6 pm slot at Murano, Silk Harvest and Tuscan Grill. I joked with the person making the reservations that we wanted a window seat at each restaurant. We did get window seats each time. I was thrilled. The food in each specialty restaurant was great. We liked Silk Harvest the best.

We ate in the main dining room several times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No complaints about the food or service. We at several breakfasts at the buffet. Only complaint is the lack of clean tables and finding a seat. However, we always found a table outside (out of the wind and rain).

Cabin Review

Cabin was roomy and loved the view. The Celebrity representative that helped with our booking recommended the starboard side of the ship for this cruise.
