lovely ship, great service, excellent excursions: those are the positives.

We felt the food was quite poor in quality and preparation. Everything was lukewarm and overcooked, no doubt from too much time under heat lamps after being thawed. We ate in Blu for breakfast 4 times and it was by far the best experience we had. The dinners (2) were not good at all. Lobster was so overdone it was inedible. We ate lunch once in the main dining room...very poor food, under seasoned and more like cafeteria food that is served on the 14th floor scramble.

First night we had dinner in the Tuscan Grill. The veal chop was over cooked and rubbery with no seasoning at all. Generally in an Italian preparation this would have some rosemary and garlic. I had Pappardelle with lobster. Little rubber knots of lobster meat and a dull bechamel sauce. We stayed with wines offered on the upgraded drinks package. Throughout the ship the wines were undistinguished better supermarket wines.

Cabin Review

Bed is next to the balcony. Quite a bit of noise from Deck 12 chairs being dragged at all hours. Room was in top shape and we had an excellent steward and assistant. Kept us in water and apples and made the cute towel animals for us twice.
