My husband and I finally succumbed to the cruise fever being spread by our friends as a treat for our silver wedding. Our local travel agent was a great help in helping us navigate the vast amount of offerings. We really didn't fancy the huge ships and after a bit of discussion on our likes and dislikes she recommended Silversea to us. We liked the fact this was all inclusive, including tips, as it simplified things for us novices!

We sailed on the Whisper from Copenhagen and the 24 degree sunshine on embarkation boded well, in fact we were blessed with very fair weather for the whole trip. We took advantage of inclusive flights which meant embarkation was slick and easy, we were met at Copenhagen airport and mini-bussed to ship with another couple from our flight. We got straight on and accessed our cabin immediately. The ship itself was lovely, exactly as we had imagined, and our cabin was immaculate.

We were surprised at how roomy the cabin was, we had chosen a Veranda 2 suite, and it was equipped with everything we could want including a full size bath. Everyone is allocated their own butler, we had Saji who along with our suite attendant (Marlon) took pride in making sure our cabin was always looking smart and well supplied.
