Although Celebrity was our favorite cruise line, we were disappointed in this cruise. The good remarks are: the nicest library of any ship we have been on, the sheets, towels and sundries were very nice. Our waiters and cabin help were all wonderful. The glass blowing was entertaining but questionable on a ship. We thought of the fire risk. Things that could be improved are the food in the buffet was just OK, drink prices (according to our waiter) had been raised the week before. I believe there was only one wine selection below $10 a glass. The bottle of wine we had in the dining room (one of the cheapest) came to $49.50 with gratuities. We and the two other couples at our table were Concierge level and were disappointed to find there wasn't much difference from Balcony level, except for better robes and a tote. The nightly appetizer selection and fruit were pitiful and we gave up after two tries. The cafe open late only served desserts, coffee had to be charged. Other ships we have been on offered small sandwiches.

Thoughout the ship very annoying, repetitive, voiceless music was heard. We found the foyer singers to be flat. I would give the nighty entertainment a grade of C. Movies were scheduled during lunch, dinner or 11:00PM and difficult to attend.

The comestic shop didn't open until the 9th day of the cruise and the woman's shop on the 13th day. The other days the windows were covered with paper. We all wondered what passengers would do who lost their suitcases.

Cabin Review

The room had a terrible vibration. The bathroom although spacious by ship standards had no cord to hang washables.
