This was our first cruise and seemingly will probably be the last. Upon embarkation in Seward everything seemed fine. Walked the entire ship to become familiar with where things were. The first 2 days of the cruise were spectacular - sea voyage on day one and Glacier Bay National park on day 2. The scenery was incredible.

Beginning on day 3 the quality of the food on the Lido deck started to deterioriate. Dry fish, mac & cheese that was dry and tasteless. Seems as though they were recycling everything from day to day but after you burn something or its dried out from reheating numerous times you should dispose of it and not try to continually serve it.

The main dining room - The Rotterdam was very nice, plesant surroundings. Food again was sub par and this was supposed to be something that was prepared fresh. Very disappointing. The week ended up being religated to going to the burger and hot dog bar on the Lido deck by the pool or getting something to eat in town when in port.

Cabin Review

the room was very nice - clean - no issues. There was a repair that needed done in the shower with the hand held shower hose and notifying the room steward it was done by the time we returned from shore. The only thing i would say was just not quite right was that the wall of the tub seemed excessivly high and i couldnt imagine trying to get in and out of it if i had any kind of mobility issue.
