Celebrity Solstice is a queen. What a beautiful ship. The staff wonderfull. The food sensational. The optional restaurants amazing. The drinks package awesome. The whole experience was almost perfect... EXCEPT...

EMBARKATION

We were to embark in Vancouver and decided to spend that day taking a day tour (they would transport our luggage from our hotel to the ship) while we digested hours until it was a recommended time to board the ship. We arrived at the departure terminal to find that 500+ people had the same idea. Not Celebrity's fault, but a very good idea to keep in mind (luggage gone and a day of sightseeing). Problem was, American customs had 3 stations open. Again not Celebrity's fault. The problem I have with this is why can't Celebrity stagger times and passengers? e.g. Passengers 0 to 500 @ 12.00pm, Passengers 501 to 1000 @ 2pm etc. Anyway, we waited 2 hours to get processed and boarded the ship only to find that we could not go anywhere but the MUSTER station compulsory drill. Not happy.
