Was excited to embark to new ports of call for me and my husband. Spent 2 days in Copenhagen, cleared up jet lag and gave us time to explore. Make sure you take a canal boat tour and visit Tivoli gardens. Got our hotel (Scandic) and air through Princess...easy trip and transfers from airport and later to ship were smooth.Hotel was centrally located in Copenhagen. Easy to walk city! The Royal Princess was beautiful! Gorgeous atrium, that was constantly filled with various types of entertainment. This trip was very port intensive, so get on your walking shoes. We took a variety of Princess excursions, all of which were well organized and guides were well versed on the history, people and geography of each country we visited! In Russia we did a private tour...amazing country..Hermitage is a must see, also the Peterhof Palace and the Church of the Spilt Blood.

We were lucky and had an upgrade to a mini suite...great room, 2 flat screen tv's, bathtub, and balcony. Did not use balcony as much because we were constantly on the go. Entertainment in the main theatre had great shows...fun casino...never for a loss of things to do! We signed up for the Enclave (Lotus Spa) for the week, every day after walking up and down stairs and on cobblestone roads in our ports of call we came back to the ship and soaked in luxury (beautiful set up, giant whirlpool, sauna, steam room, eucalyptus room etc.) Best for sore legs and feet. Enjoyed every minute...watched great world cup games with a truly international crowd. Fun all the way....

Dining rooms were well staffed, we had anytime dining and very rarely waited for a table for 2. Food was good and varied. When we embarked we ate lunch in the dining room, so much more relaxed then the buffet on the top deck. We have cruised with Princess before and feel the new Horizon Court is great! More room to navigate food options, great desert room.

Cabin Review

Great room......plenty of space..love new interactive flat screen TV's. Husband and I felt these were the most comfortable beds we have ever had on a cruise. Balcony is small but adequate. Loved the bathtub and the couch to relax on....
