This was our first cruise with Azamara and was a little unsure because the ship is quite small. However we got such a good deal, we couldn't turn it down. it was our first time in an inside stateroom and was really hoping for an upgrade, which we didn't get, despite some people getting double upgrades. Anyway, we made the best of it. The stateroom was roomy, clean and all together, no complaints there. All crew, in any capacity, were polite, friendly and seemed genuinely interest in you and giving you a good time. 10/10 for staff. This is probably because the captain was great. He's approachable, joins in and is very present and sets a good example for his crew. On our first evening we taken by Azamara to an underground cistern which is now converted to a sort of theatre and we were entertained by a string quartet. We were looked after by the Azamara crew, waited on and spoilt in every way. They call these Az-Amazing evenings, and all completely free of charge.

Well done DJ Matt for accommodating a load of noisy Brits and we danced the night away.

I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise and wouldn't hesitate to book another Azamara cruise.

Cabin Review

Roomy, clean. Just takes a little getting used to. You have no idea what time of day it is, pitch black at night, which lends itself to a good nights sleep.
