Our travel party consisist of me(31), DH(36) and DS5(almost 6). Our DS has tree nut allergies. We spent 10 days at Disney's Beach club villas prior to our 3 day cruise. We got picked up by the Cruise Line bus at noon and arrived at the port by about 1:15. There was a bit of a wait but not too bad to check in. I had done everything online so it was pretty simple then we went and checked in for the child's activities and got his "magicband". Then we boarded the ship! I think it is nice how they announce each family as they board, but really think they should have Mickey and the gang there waving at people as they board.
The Ship: was awesome! In great shape and super clean. Never saw anything that seemed less than clean. They are always handing out hand wipes as you enter any restaurant which is great to help spreading germs. The ship was pretty easy to navigate once we found our way around.
Oceaneer Club & Lab: were great! We went and checked them out during the open house the 1st day and our son was very excited to play in "Andys room". Checking in and checking out could be a bit busy, but it was pretty organized. Our son went several times for about 1/2 hr-45 minutes each time. He attended the Pirate event (he said Jake from the Neverland pirates came), he LOVED Plutos pajama party (Pluto came) and just liked the free play. We always told him he could call us when he was ready to leave and usually after about 1/2 hour he did, but a few times he didn't and when we went to pick him up (usually for dinner) he didn't want to leave! Love that they can text the wave phone with any messages, one time about 5 min after my husband left him they text saying his flip flop broke so please bring another pair shoes. He always had a great time and the staff was very friendly and fun.
