Having done a recent mini cruise aboard Azura, our first experience with P & O, we were careful not to have high expectations of this cruise on the Oceana to the Fjords. We need not have worried; we had a wonderful week aboard a great ship serviced by friendly and professional staff.

Both embarkation and disembarkation were faultless. We drove up to the terminal on our first day and our car was whizzed away by the car park attendants and our last day was just as efficient. Our cabin on deck C was well designed. The bathroom was a little tight, but storage space very good. The balcony is a great boon and we spent many a happy hour sitting watching the scenic views go by with a glass in hand! Jack our cabin steward kept it spotlessly clean and was the best steward we have had aboard a cruise ship.

The Oceana is known as ‘the pretty ship’ and this is an accurate description. It is well laid out with a great deal of sun lounge areas. Varied bars and lounges with differing types of décor means there is something which will suit all. It is comfy, clean and has a really nice atmosphere.

Cabin Review

A well designed cabin with a good sized balcony. Quiet area and mid-ship so no problem with motion.
