We were very excited to travel on-board the Equinox but were left disappointed overall.

Starting with the positives - the Ship is amazing, great in rough seas, great facilities and super modern and well kept. The rooms are spacious and feel more like hotel rooms not ship cabins. The food and the drinks, without exception are 5 star quality - all of it, all of the time so hats off the the chefs.

The staff - sheesh. From one end of the spectrum to another. Silvia in the coffee shop was an utter delight to be with, if only all the staff were like this. Some were just darn right rude and clearly hated their jobs. Despite all our efforts to be friendly and engaging some didn't even speak back to you when you said "please" and "thank you" when ordered - just silence. My mother was often ignored by certain nationalities because she was female. This was apauling. 2 out of the 4 of us in our party had extra drinks sneaked on to our bill after we had left the ship that we did not order - especially as we had a drinks package! This must be a tactic by the staff so watch what Celebrity actually charge to your account vs. what your final bill states.

Cabin Review

Nice room, large balcony.
