We traveled with a group of 25 people with the ages ranging from 14-55 and let me just say that they are not good with accommodating large groups. Every single night at dinner we would always get split up into 2-5 tables depending on the dining room that we went to. Even if we had reservations at one of the complimetary dining rooms, we were always split up. The tables were never in sync with each other. We had one or two tables finishing 25-30 minutes before other tables, which made it hard to go to some sort of entertainment at night. In addition, the service is extremely slow in the complimetary and speciality restaurants. On average it took close to 3 hours per night. There are not enough staff workers in the dining halls, so the service was extremely slow. On several nights we were never asked if we wanted coffee or tea and they forgot to bring us dessert. The Manhattan Room was beautiful and had nice entertainment every night, whether it was live music or a performance by the cast of Burn the Floor. However, you are right about the engine, so if you are seated in the back of the restaurant, it will be a bumpy and uncomfortable ride during your dinner. Taste and Savor were okay. They both looked the same, but the service was exceptionally slow at these two restaurants. Taste, Savor and the Manhattan Room all have the same menu every night. We went to La Cucina, the Italian restaurant, the hibachi restaurant, and Wasabi (sushi bar) which are three of the speciality restaurants. The Italian restaurant and the hibachi restaurant were extremely slow! We missed a ton of entertainment those two nights because we were stuck at these restaurants that we paid to go to. We were also split up into smaller tables meanwhile there were hardly any people in the restaurants. Only four of us went to Wasabi, so service wasn't' as bad/slow. The sushi is very cheap, so definitely worth going to in the middle of the day. We ended up fighting the mandatory $12/day/person service charge and they dropped it for the entire group at guest services. The layout of the boat is very odd and hard to figure out. 678 Ocean Plaza is a cute concept, but very confusing. The Ice Bar was a lot of fun..it's very cold, so dress in jeans and a sweatshirt because you will be freezing. The nightly entertainment is pretty good! There is dueling pianos, which are awesome. There was nightly entertainment in Fat Cats, a Glow Party (bring white clothes), Norwegian's Night Out Party, an 80's party, fireworks, a top 40 hits of today party, and much more! Rock of Ages was very good..it was almost identical to the one on Broadway. Burn the Floor was also fun!

The pool are very small...since the Haven takes up a lot of space on the pool decks, there is only one pool for adults, which is always packed. A lot of people sit on the edge of the pool, so you are stuck swimming or fighting people for space to sit. There is one tiny tiny tiny kids pool that is at the bottom of the slides. The slides are very fun! The line looks a lot longer from the ground, but it moves quickly. People did get stuck in the slides where the floor drops out from underneath you, so be careful with that. The ropes course was a lot of fun...you should definitely wait in line for it. The only thing is you get to choose how long you want to be up there for, so you could be up there for 2 minutes or 2 hours. There's no specific course. You get to choose which obstacles you want to do and go at your own pace. The plank was very cool and you get to take a picture of yourself on it.

Bermuda was a beautiful island! We had done the Segway tour on our first day there, which was a lot of fun! The tour guides were a lot of fun. It's very easy to use and they are very helpful. You start off by going around the Royal Naval Dockyard and then you go through the streets of Bermuda on a two hour tour. It's a lot of fun with beautiful views! Definitely recommend it. We also did the Wild Wild West Kayaking tour, which was great too! You take about a 20 minute boat ride to the kayak location and get on there. The kayaking tour was about an hour long. They are glass bottoms, so you can see underneath you. Then you have about a half hour to swim at the beach before you take the 20 minute boat ride back to the cruise docks. We went to Warwick Beach, which is about a mile past Horseshoe Bay. It's this beautiful lagoon. I would definitely recommend going there because there were only 10-15 other people on the beach and it was beautiful. Some of us walked to Horseshoe Bay just to say we went there, which was nice. You walk through the sand, so it's not too bad of a walk. We also went to Tobacco Bay, which you can access via the St. George's ferry. Very pretty beach as well. You can definitely talk to the taxi drivers and they will give you a deal. They charged $5-$7 per person each way to get to the beaches, which was a 20-25 minute taxi ride. It was much quicker then the buses and much easier to figure out. On the last day we went to Snorkel Beach, which is in walking distance from the cruise docks. It was a nice beach/lagoon with snorkeling, water sports, beach chairs, umbrellas, a large bar, a large restaurant, and nice/clean bathrooms. It was crowded the last day because most people don't want to risk the chance of not getting back in time. Overall, Bermuda was a beautiful island! We had a nice time on the trip, but I don't think I would go on this boat again with a large group.

Cabin Review

The room was a nice standard size. Nothing special, but it was nice. The bathroom was a good size. There was a ton of storage in the room. We had two connecting rooms, and the 8 of us fit in there fine. The fourth bed is a bunk bed that pulls out from the ceiling above the couch. The balcony was smaller than other cruise lines that I have been on. The hallways are VERY narrow. Two people cannot pass each other in the hallway, so one person is always stuck moving into someone's doorways. When there is a cleaning cart in the hallway, it is very tight as well.
