Having cruised ten times we specifically wanted to cruise on the Allure. As many have said before the ship is the attraction. We were certainly not disappointed. The Allure is a truly amazing ship with lots to do. We were on a back to back cruise departing on 29/6. Our biggest problem was British Airways left our luggage in London when we flew to Miami! We did not see our luggage until the end of the first week when we returned to Fort Lauderdale. Although this was an inconvenience Guest Services on the ship, in particular Anca, were extremely helpful. Without asking they gave us free T shirts & laundry. They also offered us free tuxedo hire for the formal nights. Anca tracked our luggage for us & provided daily updates. She made sure the luggage was at the terminal waiting for us. It was fantastic customer service on their part.

Apart from the delayed luggage we had a fantastic vacation. For us the ship was the main attraction & it did not disappoint. It never felt crowded & we found it easy to get on & off at ports. The shows were first class. We had pre booked them all but think most people still managed to get in from the standby lines. Food was also very good. My only complaint was the delay getting into the restaurant. We were on my time dining & had a table booked for every night. Some nights it took up to half an hour in a cue just to get to the desk. After you check in for your table you are sent to a waiting area to be taken to your table. It all seemed a bit convoluted. The waiters also seemed to be over worked although they all delivered a great service. All in all the ship offers something fir everyone & we would certainly sail on her again.

Cabin Review

Only issue with this cabin was the restricted view but that part it was up to the usual high Royal Caribbean standard.
