As we embarked from Piraeus and we were only about 50 persons, the embarkation procedures were straight forward and quick.
Our cabin was on the 11th level with a good sized balcony. Its size was ok and we unpacked all our clothes and stored the suitcases in the corner, leaving enough room to move around. The room deco was, I would say, cozy and pleasant. The TV could have been larger. The bathroom was reasonable but the shower curtain made it look cheap. The could easily have accommodated a class door instead. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were small, lumpy and terrible. The rooms were done up two - three times a day with clean, absorbing towels every time, but the bed sheets were not changed every day. However, we did not manage to meet the so called "personal butler".
The food: There was plentiful quantity and wide variety of food with fair quality in the self service restaurant on the 14th floor. I believe that if somebody wants to see everything would have to walk at least half a kilometer. The restaurant, one of two, was spacious and beautifully decorated. The lunch and dinner menus were acceptable both quality and quantity wise. The service leaves a lot to be desired: Slow, unorganized and difficult to communicate - Asian and Latin waiters only - .
