Just came back from our family cruise and we had a great time. The ship was clean everywhere and very pretty. There was only 1 pool for families (small) and 1 for adults (small) but 4 hot tubs. The kiddie splash area was great. The 5 slides were great and lines were very small. The rock wall and ropes course had longer lines but I only waited for about 10-15 minutes and you can stay up there as long as you want. Plenty of chairs around the ship however the ones by the pool always were taken first. We got our chairs around 8-8:30 every day. The buffet food was quite good and we actually ate dinner there twice. Paid to eat at teppanyake which was good however my family didn't care for it. LaCucina is nothing special…regular italian food you can get anywhere. We got the lobster roll for lunch at the Ocean's take out window on deck 8 for $9. It was delicious and came with chips. The fresh omelets were delicious as well for breakfast. We got a cupcake from Carlos' famous bakery for $2.50 and it was ok nothing special.

The cabins are small with very little storage. We were 4 people in our cabin and our kids had to keep their clothes in their suitcase which was a pain. Tiny closet with 4 shelves and the balcony was very small…it had 2 chairs and a tiny table. If 3 people were on it we were arm to arm…

Did a snorkeling excursion in st. thomas. We went on the catamaran called " The Cat " to turtle cove. It was $80/adult and $45/child. Not worth the money at all! There were 6 other boats in this tiny cove so we kept getting kicked in the face while we were swimming. Our boat was overcrowded and when I asked how many people were on the boat they said we're not allowed to tell you! I counted and there were approximately 80+ people and 4 crew. No customer service on the boat. No offering of water and their idea of a snack was to open a bag of potato chips and put it in a bowl and have everyone grab at it after they were done snorkeling…it was disgusting! And for all of this we saw 4 turtles, 1 stingray and a not so great looking reef…the fish were non existent…(not sure where they were). The tropicana rooms food was hit or miss however they had a band play while you ate so that was nice and 1 night they had a show. We saw legally blonde which I liked bc I like the movie but my parents thought the show was horrible. Burn the floor was good--its a dancing show and they were great. The 2 comedians were funny and we also went to howl at the moon ( i used to work there). It's so much fun however the piano players harp on tips way too much. We get it…you have a request accompanied with money your song will be played first however they never played any of my songs bc I didn't give money…(not nice). Got tired of hearing them say oh we just got another Benjamin so we left. Kareoke was fun but they only give you 1 hour which means if you really want to sing make sure you get there before it starts so you can get a tablet and reserve your song…they only have 3 and people take forever to pick a song! The kids camp was ok. It closed for 2 hours for lunch and dinner and they have WII but didn't let the kids play it..no computers either. They did put on a circus show which was cute. We took our own luggage off the ship which was very easy and saved time and we left after breakfast around 9:15. Overall, it was a great cruise. Hope you enjoy yours!

Cabin Review

We were on the 14th floor right under the buffet and pool! Best location on the ship!!
