Well, I wanted to write a review after our cruise, since I had read so many before I made my stateroom selection and excursion picks, so here I go. First let me say that if you are traveling some distance (I was coming from the East coast of the United States) it is probably worth while to fly to Honolulu First Class rather than coach if you can swing it financially. The extra leg room and seat room is worth it in my opinion, not to mention the meals, drinks and two pieces of checked luggage per person.

The Cruise Suite Stateroom Room (10678) itself was a little smaller than what I had imagined based on internet pictures, but was adequate for my wife and I and my 23 year old daughter (you could probably do 4 people if you had children under the age of 16), but 5 people would be pushing it in my opinion. There are essentially two bedrooms (one smaller ,and one larger with essentially a king size bed),and a small living room area. Each room had its' own TV (the living room had a bigger TV screen).

MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT,THE SELLING FEATURE OF THIS SUITE IS THE BALCONY AND THE VIEWS FROM IT (I would recommend the Family Suites on decks 9 or 10 aft). If your family likes to lay out on a balcony with great views of the Hawaiian islands most of time, for parts of every day and night on this cruise, this is the room for you. If not, look elsewhere for another room on the ship. There is no hot tub on the balcony in this suite, but THE BALCONY IS OVER 5 TIMES THE SIZE OF A REGULAR BALCONY, AND WRAPS AROUND THE SHIP ON THE SIDE THAT YOU ARE ON (I did some comparison measurements). We were on deck 10 aft under the Moderno café, and noise was NOT an issue.
