This was my third cruise- my husband and I previously were on Princess and Royal Caribbean. While we have enjoyed them all, this was my favorite. I liked the smaller size of the ship, and there were less "party-goers" on this boat. Even though my husband and I are in our 20s, we aren't the type to drink and stay out late; we're more interested in relaxing and enjoying the port. The crowd on board was older and a bit classier than we we saw on Royal.
Embarkation was a breeze- we literally walked onto the ship 5 minutes after we arrived in Bayonne. We got there at 11 AM. Even though we arrived early on our other two cruises, we never got on the boat so quickly!
Our cabin was neat and clean and well-tended to by our steward, Sandy. The public rooms were well-kept, too. We spent some time at the Solarium and liked it, but the water in the main heated pool didn't look completely clean. If you want to use the whirlpools, go on an off-time. We used it around 8 pm one night and had the area all to ourselves! The main pool was nice but always crowded!
Our cabin was clean and the balcony was a good size. We were in the concierge class, and the afternoon canapes were very weak.
