This was a 5 nighter, but I will go by the days: Monday, embarkation was a breeze. Lunch at Windjammer was typical fare, but tasty. Had a great Grand Margarita, and the trip was on. Dinner at Giovannis' Table was fine. Enjoyed all but the Penne alla Vodka. Karaoke was pathetic. There was a good country singer, but I HATE country music.
Next day (Tuesday) was at sea. Breakfast in the dining room was slow, but food was good. Some weak passenger events (the ladies' muscle event was disappointing...none of them had muscles and they were hardly the cutest chicks aboard). Dinner in main dining room was great. Our table mates were nice, and I almost regretted booking so many specialty meals. Another lame karaoke session.
Wednesday was the Port of Roatan, Haiti. Pier shops were limited and weak, but the excursion was excellent. Extreme Zip Lining thru the jungle. 12 lines, some really long, some really high, some really fast, and some great guides. We left tired and exhilarated. Dinner at Chops Grille was marred by sea sickness, but I had the best NY Strip ever, and the wait staff was fantastic. When my partner could not finish dinner, they let me take her to the cabin, allowed me to return (and finish that great steak!), and let us return the next night.
