Took entire family with us for my husbands 70th birthday. 6 adults & 6 grandchildren ages 3 1/2, 5 1/2, 6, 8, 9, & 11. My husband & I had a royal suite that couldn't have been more perfect or comfortable. Our butler Jose was attentive, professional & overall wonderful. I can see why he is the head Butler. For our son & daughter & their families we chose the family veranda rooms. Except for the bathrooms being ridiculously small (picture a planes restroom, add a tiny shower stall) they had no complaints. They all couldn't say enough nice things about their steward Julio & how he was always there to meet all their needs.

Overall I'd say everyone we encountered was helpful, friendly & seemed to enjoy their job. The impression we got was that they sincerely want the passengers to enjoy themselves. Which we all did. We got everyone the beverage package which I highly recommend. Getting on & off the ship was a breeze. Kids Factory was a great time for most of the kids (which was a bonus for their parents). Staff there were hands on, protective & parents felt at ease leaving them. Gave them free time alone. They couldn't really get in much pool time though, kids pool always packed. They got to swim & snorkel in Bermuda. Weather perfect.

Main restaurant had very attentive servers & were very helpful getting kids what they wanted to eat. Laurence was very good with them. Food was good not great. Normandy was 'wonderful'. I do agree with the person who said doors to dining room didn't open at 6 0'clock, which created a crowd outside of restaurant. Felt like cattle lining up. When it seemed to be the norm on second night we just chose to go at 6:10 from there on. Royal Suite passengers have a private lounge Michael's to go to which is a nice touch & we did spend some time there. It is there where we had a delightful & helpful concierge Jole. Went to Snorkle Beach which was perfect for kids. We've cruised with Celebrity before, Holland America, Norwegian & Royal Caribbean. The Summit was great for our family, not to big or to small. A good time had by all.

Cabin Review

Perfect......comfortable & had everything we needed. Could've done w/o Jacuzzi tub & had a larger shower but realize that you need something for everybody.
