Just returned from a seven night cruise on MSC Fantasia and it was amazing. First cruise ever and took my three teenage children with me to give them a taste of Europe and it was everything we could of asked for. Fantasia is a beautiful ship, emaculate and ran like clockwork. Dining room food was ok and the non stop buffet was vast in its size and selection of fresh and good varied food which kept my children very happy for every waking hour they were aboard. There are lots and lots of bars and othe eating places all offering different things that could not fail to please every taste. They had ample smoking places on deck and a cigar lounge plus smoking allowed in the casino.

We disembarked every day at a different place and this was executed with precision, the only gripe being that on some stops a little more time would of been better but if you want to visit seven beautiful places in seven wonderful days then great. The logostics to organise flights, transfers and port calls was perfect and the ship and crew were turned out beautiful all the time, I was proud to be a passenger on such a beautiful, well turned out ship which literally gleamed from the minute we boarded. The staff were all amazing happy, friendly, helpful, courteous and polite (as well as working non-stop to maintain the very high standard of cleanliness and polish of the whole ship) and in great supply despite a full, very busy ship.

Entertainment was also non-stop if you wanted it, dancing, drinking, sitting, a spa, casino, theatre, pools to name a few, plus other additional entertainment around the ship by lots of great entertainers. There was non stop action and entertainment around different venues on the ship each day wrapped around the shore stops also. A newsletter informed you, in your chosen language and delivered to your cabin every evening, about things happening on the ship, details about the next days port of call and information about weather and transport in and around the port as well as excursions available. The newsletter also included times for all resteraunts etc and extra entertainment for the following day. Well done MSC for giving us a wonderful holiday that we will always have many happy memories of. FANATASTIC.

Cabin Review

Very nice room which was kept in tip top condition by our wonderful cabin man. Balcony was not the usual glass fronted as it was at the front of the ship but it was very nice and was useful as we had four in the cabin and gave us a little more room to spread out. A little tight when we were all in it but it served its purpose, quiet ( no noise keeping us awake) kept at a even temperature and was comfortable for all of us to sleep in. Sette beds made up and put away by cabin staff whilst out at breakfast and dinner and new towels every day. Shower was brilliant, hot water and great pressure and bathroom was a good size. Lots of wardrobe space and a safe if needed.
