My mom and I are both first-time cruisers and had a great experience on Silhouette.
All the crew members are very friendly and cheerful. Our stateroom attendant Edwin and his assistant stateroom attendant are both very responsible and diligent. They are also very attentive. Most of the fellow passengers were good to talk to and had a great sense of humor. Cruising is indeed a very unique form of traveling. We are able to meet a lot of different people from different cultural backgrounds and have a great time together.
The food in the MDR was excellent. Not to mention the specialty restaurants. On the first night I got my prime rib slightly overcooked and our waiter Frederick immediately asked if I wish to have another plate after knowing it. The duck breast at Murano was seared so perfectly that I am still missing it now. I even found very sweet melons in the Oceanview Cafe.
Room was tidy, lots of room for storage. Size perfect for two persons.
