I have to say I read a lot of reviews and I was a little concern about taking the MSC, I was very happy I booked this cruise , I have been on Royal Carribean and Disney and this cruise was different, first of all the majority of the passengers are European we were the very few Americans on board the ship, not a big deal at all. We were two families, 4 adults and 4 children under 12. The ship was immaculate, the food was great and the staff were excellent. The attendant who cleaned our room was so helpful and gave us so much advice on the different ports and kept our rooms spotless. The ports were amazing. We did not book any tours except Santorini which you kind of need if you want to sit on the beach and see the village , which I would highly recommend. Bari you can take a taxi or even walk to the little town. The other islands you can take a taxi to the beaches and what's nice is that the beaches supply lounge chairs and unmbrellas as long as you eat at their restaurant which was great because the food was awesome and the beaches were beautiful . Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful places on earth. We booked a city tour with the cab at the taxi stand directly at the port and he took us around and dropped us off in the village where we shopped and walked back to the ship.

The few faults with the ship is that it was very difficult to find a table at the breakfast Buffett and beach chairs were very hard to come by, people would put t owels on chairs and hold then for the day. The pools are beautiful and they have a slide for the kids. They do nickel and dime you with lots of extra charges like drinks , we didn't get the drink package which would of cost an additional $ 700 for the family cause everyone in the cabin has to pay for the package. We are not big drinkers but their were extra charges for soda, bottled water, gelato and smoothies. I bought what I needed and spent $150 on drinks which came out cheaper than the package. They do give usa and Canadian residents 30 vouchers for water per family.

They have a simulator for the kids which cost 8 euros per ride . They have ping pong and a soccer ball which were included. The shows at night were nothing spectacle but after being at ports every day we were tired after dinner ,the casino was nice and they have an arcade for the kids which was 1 euro per game.
