DH and I have been on 33 cruises.....Celebrity (11), PRINCESS (7), RCCL (10), Holland America (5) and Carnival (1). Our recent Freedom of the Seas cruise was one of the best we've EVER had. I'll mention too that I am a home-based Travel Agent, therefore I tend to have a very critical eye. I like to only recommend cruise lines and ships to my clients that are up to par and there is no better way to know that than to cruise them. We were on this cruise to celebrate my husband turning 70. It was a FABULOUS choice.

EMBARKATION: - A breeze. We are Diamond so the line was expedited a little bit for us, but not that much. We were on board in less than 20 minutes from the time we arrived at the port. Also, a new feature they have implemented is 2 separate lines as you board the ship based on whether you want to participate in having a "Boarding Backdrop" photo of you and your group taken. Signs clearly mark which way to go depending on your preferences.

ROOM: We were in a PROMENADE Stateroom on Deck 6. Lots of good storage area. Nice sitting area with loveseat and window seat. Great conversation pit. Room was in good condition and immaculately cleaned. Our Stateroom Attendant Althea couldn't have been any more accommodating. We have few requests, but the ones we had were met promptly.
