a just returned from a 17 night Central M editerranean cruise, Cadiz, Ctania, Corfu, Split, Venice, Korcula and Gibraltar. My husband is disabled so on arrival at Southampton we were met by wheelchair assistance and were on the ship within about 15 minutes. The cabin was lovely and spacious and our cabin steward throughout the cruise was very attentive.

Captain: Neil (did I mention I come from Derbyshire) Turnbull was fabulous. As it was school holidays he had his wife and4 children on board but this in no way detracted him from mixing with and entertaining the passengers, Full marks

Dining: we opted for 1st sitting at 6.30 and had very good table companions. We were intending to eat at some of the speciality restaurants but the food was so good in the Medina restaurant that we didn't bother with the extra expense. Our table waiters, Savio and Jibi were superb and were always cheerful and funny
