Our last cruise was on a huge Carnival ship, nearly 20 years ago so we did not know what to expect from Oceania but hoped for the best. We were blown away by the Insignia - there was nothing about the ship that we could find fault with. The cabin was comfortable, the Tranquillity bed was superb, the concierge was capable and professional. The food in all of the restaurants was out of this world - we did not have one meal where the food was not beautifully presented and delicious. The ship was plush and expansive but the atmosphere was casual and friendly. The amenities are plentiful - there is even a well stocked library! The staff on the ship are outstanding - responsive, charming and thoughtful of your comfort. Our itinerary was hectic but we loved the excitement of waking up in a new port every day and the information provided by the ship on each destination was excellent. Our next cruise will be on Oceania, we had the time of our lives!

Cabin Review

The cabin was in the front of the ship. It tended to be quite noisy when docking and very hot if the front of the ship was docked facing the sun all day. Not the best cabin in rough seas ...better, we learned after a rough crossing from Tangier to Lisbon, to have a cabin on the sides in the middle.
