Sail Date: Jul 2014

Stayed overnight in Barcelona at a small hotel called H10 Moncada, has 80 rooms, what a find, recommended staying here, upgrade to a larger room if you wish, staff and service are excellent. Just some 15-20 mins from the port. Good place to be for eating out at night in the many bars/restaurants located nearby.

First time we have sailed on the Riviera, however we have sailed on her sister ship Marina. Overall the ship was of the same standard as we have come to expect from Oceania. The ship appeared to be full so the sun decks were well used, we used the Private Sun deck which you can pay for on a daily basis if not included in your room charge, well worth it.

The level of service on all parts of the ship were to a high standard, although we had a Butler we only used him on a limited amount of occasions. would imagine if somewhat limited to getting around this service would be very helpful. He was supposed to be able to book additional bookings in the speciality restaurants, but he had no more luck than we had going down to book them with front desk, although we had 2 more allocations making 6 in total so that was good.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse

Our room had 420 square feet of space and featuring a dining table, separate seating area, full-size bathtub and shower and separate shower, with Bulgari toiletries, walk-in closet and private veranda. We had card access to the private Executive Lounge and the services of a dedicated butler. Our package included free internet, however we could not log on to our e-mails, so not much point in having this! The room was very good, spacious but the dark wood furnishing does make the room appear to be dark, especially when the sun is not coming into the room
