Our trip left Copenhagen on July 6. We were upgraded to a mini-suite for an extra $100.00. This was well worth the money..lovely room. The balconies are maybe smaller but still had plenty of room to stretch out. For those concerned with the elevators, walk down to the next section if they are busy; or take the stairs if you are not going up too far. We watched the entertainment in princess theatre every night and it was always excellent. Nice to see Russian Folk music and dancers the first night in Russia. Always something going on in the piazza. I would agree thought that if you are in the pizzeria when the music is on, it is loud. Don't miss the pizzeria and the International Cafe. Lovely desserts at the Cafe. Another lounge area that may be missed is behind the Horizon Buffet area (back of the ship). I would recommend that the big screen tv concerts be eliminated or every other today as it is loud and annoying. The breakfast buffet can be challenging at time when people forget to mind their manners and take their turn. Servers are wonderful, polite and helpful. On occasion, the food could be improved. (over cooked or bland) But as it is just a year, perhaps menus will be reviewed. Gift shop had good selection of russian dolls at good prices; as well as many other items. The weather was warm (25 in Tallin and 29 in St Petersburg) and sunny. Everyone spoke excellent english and was very helpful. It was a great memorable trip.
The mini suite was beautifully decorated. Lots of room to hang clothes and store items.
