We just got back today from our 10 day cruise to the Eastern Carribean. Overall everyone had a great time. We traveled with our two daughters ages 21 and 25 , one of their friends, my sister in law and her son. The embarkation from Bayonne was slow but not awful. The ship was very pretty and didn't show it's age unless you were looking for things to complain about. Our staterooms were small, but we also had a handicapped room which was very spacious. The boat was very clean. The dining room and housekeeping staff were top notch. There were many venues for evening entertainment including a piano bar, a pub with a guitar player, a salsa band and a dance band. The shows varied from excellent to just ok. We liked the female singer and the last comedian the best. The ice skating show was very good. The food was good but was a little too salty. There were no lines at the buffet but there were not enough tables for everyone to sit. The pools were very nice and getting lounge chairs was not too bad. We sent someone down in the morning to put items down to ensure we had seats for later. The pool band was very good and not too loud.

We took a package to horseshoe bay in Bermuda. We should have just taken a cab. The beach is beautiful. We also took a beach break package to st Marteen. We didn't arrive at the port until 1:30 so we only wound up with 1 and a half hours on the beach. We were supposed to be dropped off on the way back to shop but the stores were already closed. We should have just taken a cab to Orient Beach and rented beach chairs from one of the bars on the beach.

We walked off the boat to Old San Juan and did some nice shopping as we were only in the port for the morning.
