This was my 16th cruise - the rest were on Carnival, Royal Carribean, Celebrity and Norwegian. By far this was the WORST. Biggest thing, the ship was warm! My husband has sweat pouring down his face in his tux in the formal dining room all night. Our stateroom was too uncomfortable to sleep (we had a balcony cabin on the 10th deck). The food was good but little change, the buffet desserts always the same - a cream puff or 2, a moose cake or 2, and a sponge cake or 2. No cookies, no pies, no brownies. Very little chocolate at all on entire trip. We love creme brulee, and often it never had the sugar crisped up on it, so it tasted very different than you would expect. Ice cream only free from 2-5 and it was all ice and plopped out of the machine. Did not taste good at all! Our room had a queen bed and a sleep sofa that was VERY VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!! The shows were severely lacking, the dancing was way off - many of the dancers not knowing the routine, but the acrobats were AWESOME. No comedy shows at all onboard. No bon-voyage party like on Carnival! They insist on tipping on credit cards, you cannot give individuals who did good cash so be aware. And the professional photographers have mostly just black or solid backgrounds, or they use a wall on the boat for the background. Only a few available, and very very long lines (we waited over an hour each time). We only saw 2 decorative backgrounds on all the nights. Be careful on the slide, there are many rough edges where each section meets, easily get cut.

Their paperwork says you cannot board until 4, but by 5 they wanted the final call of everyone onboard. odd.. We boarded about 3:30. It seems many did board much earlier.

In the gym there were about 5 bicycles, 5 treadmills, but only 2 elipticals which is what I use. I gave up after waiting almost an hour for one. No women's or men's locker rooms in the gym which was very odd.

Cabin Review

Cabin was small, very little dresser space, closet also not enough room for 4 people. We mostly lived out of suitcases stuffed under the bed. Sofa bed was HORRIBLE!
