Our family of 7 (grandparents, parents, and 3 children-ages 2, 8, 10) sailed on the Summit to Bermuda. We booked 3 ocean view cabins that provided us with ample space and a nice environment. Our cabin attendant kept our room in great condition and eagerly met our special requests.
Since we booked rather late we were only able to get open seating, but the maître de accommodated our need for early dining by giving us a 6pm reservation for the same table nightly throughout our cruise. The food was very good and our waitstaff were attentive. Some nights dining did take an extended time, but we do realize the number of guests that the ship serves is extensive. All of the crew were friendly and the captain was seen in public numerous times throughout the ship. The entertainment was excellent and some of the best we have experienced on any cruise. The older children spent time in the Fun factory and enjoyed having this option available to them. Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. We were able to park our cars in the port parking lot (very convenient). All ages enjoyed this cruise.
Cabins were conveniently located near the elevators, making them easily accessible. It was small, but well laid out.
